What you will learn:

1. Read and understand commercial patterns
2. How to take your measurements
3. How to Use a Serger Machine
4. Facings: Circle, Square, Sweetheart, V-neck 
5. Bias Binding: Create bias strips and sew bias strips 
6. Hidden pockets 
   
7. 1st Cycle Project: Basic T-shirt (no lining)
8. 2nd Cycle Project: Skirt, Pants, Shirt, Dress (no lining)

Sewing Supplies needed: 

• Fabric scissors
  
• 1 yard of muslin fabric
• Sewing Pins
  
• Tape measure
• Tailor's chalk
• Straight edge ruler
• Home sewing machine (For homework)
• Binder with transparency papers
• Notebook and pen (For notes)
