Classes are 2hrs a week for 5weeks.
Supplies needed
- Fabric and paper scissors
- 1yd muslin & 2yds fabric of choice
- A Commercial Pattern (Blouse or Skirt)
- Pins, needles, & threads
- Tape measure, tailor's chalk
- Notebook, pen and ruler
Different kinds of zippers - Home sewing machine (For homework)
What you will learn:
- You will learn how to read and explain the commercial pattern.
- You will continue to make sample skills for your scrapbook. These include: Different neckline Facings, bias binding, invisible zippers, patch and hidden pockets, Understitch and many more skills.
- The project for this class is a simple blouse or skirt, without lining.
