DAY TIME
Intermediate /Advanced
TUE 1 - 3pm; 3 - 5pm
WED 1 - 3pm; 3 - 5pm
THU. 1 - 3pm; 3 - 5pm
FRI. 1 - 3pm
Classes are 2hrs a week for 5weeks.
Supplies needed
- Fabric and paper scissors
- Commercial Pattern
- 3yds of muslin
- A roll of brown drafting paper
- Pins, needles, & threads
- Tape measure, tailor's chalk
- Notebook, pen and ruler
- 7-inch regular and invisible zippers
- Home sewing machine (For homework)
You will learn:
How to read and interpret more sophisticated ready-made or commercial patterns.
These include: welt and hidden pocket, different neckline finishes like cowl neckline, Fly and invisible zippers, and many more skills.
The project for this class is any top, dress or bottoms with lining.
